Stars and Stripes Honor Flight

The GMAR raised more than $3,500 to support the Wisconsin Stars and Stripes Honor Flight that sent World War II veterans to Washington, DC for a day to see the World War II Memorial.

They stormed Normandy Beach, fought the Battle of the Bulge and freed Paris from the Nazis, but today many of Wisconsin’s brave veterans of World War II are losing the battle of time. Every day over 900 veterans of WWII die in the US. But we have the power to make one of their greatest wishes come true. By making a donation to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Program, we are helping to tell these soldiers that the sacrifices they made to keep the world free have not been forgotten.
