GMAR Golf Outing
Sponsors Make Things Happen!
GMAR's Annual Outing sponsored by A+ Mortgage Services was held at Ironwood Golf Course on Thursday, July 15th. While the rainy weather scared us, it wasn’t enough to stop us! Ironwood was one of the few golf courses in the area that was open and they even let us ride carts after a downpour of over 4 inches the night before. It turned out to be a fabulous day, not only because of the weather, but also because of the event sponsors; there was an incredible amount of support from our Affiliate members!
Happy Hour followed golf with networking, prizes, snacks and corn on the cob in the barn. New this year, participants competed in the Ball Toss. Golf balls were thrown from the balcony onto a green and the closest to the pin, Joe Horning, won $200! After the Pig Roast, Casey Clickner and Mike Ruzicka, awarded the skill prizes: Longest Putt - Heather Winser & Matt Gaulke; Longest Drives--Susan Trapp, Jennifer Finucan, Dan Stuck and Josh Phillips; Green Ball – Bill Moeller. Putting Contest – We can’t remember who won the Putting Contest, if you won or remember who won, please let us know! Last Place with a +9 – Dennis Prosser, Pat Cotter, Chris Howard and Chuck Adsit. Second place with -9 and a rollback was Suzanne Head, Jeff Berg, Tammy Maddente and Sean Dixon. First place with a -12 was Rich Obermeier, Jeff Lien, Jeff Mierow and Scott Heyerdahl.
